The are encased in a waterproof, non-toxic shell. Each ice cube has special gel designed to remain cold longer than a regular water ice cube. Please inside a freezer for 30 minutes before use. 

The ice cubes cycle between colors - blue, green, red, orange, pink, purple. These are also available in Solid White for a more chic effect.
